스타벅스코리아가 '탱크데이' 마케팅 논란 이후 한시적으로 시행하는 '조건 없는 환불' 조치를 악용한 이른바 '카드깡(신용카드 현금화)' 우려가 확산하자 선불카드 판매를 일시 중단하기로 했습니다.

오늘(28일) 업계에 따르면 스타벅스는 이날부터 다음 달 14일까지 무기명 실물 스타벅스 카드 판매를 일시 중단합니다.

이 기간 온라인 플랫폼 등에서 구매할 수 있는 e카드 교환권 판매도 제한됩니다.10만원권 판매는 모든 플랫폼에서 중단되며 1만∼7만원권에 대해서는 플랫폼별로 다르게 적용됩니다.

이날부터 KT알파가 운영하는 '기프티쇼 비즈'에서 스타벅스 e카드(1만·2만·3만·5만·7만원권) 교환권 판매가 중단됐습니다.

11번가와 옥션,슬롯 커뮤 ps4GS&쿠폰 등에서도 10만원 교환권 판매가 일제히 중지됐습니다.

실물 및 e카드가 현금화 목적으로 악용되는 사례를 예방하기 위한 조치라는 설명입니다.

선불카드의 전액 환불 조치가 발표되자 중고거래 플랫폼 등에서는 할인된 가격에 스타벅스 e카드나 상품권을 매입한 뒤,슬롯 커뮤 ps4이를 스타벅스에서 액면가 그대로 환불받아 차익을 남기려는 움직임이 나타났습니다.

이에 따라 신용카드로 선불카드를 대량 충전한 뒤 현금으로 돌려받는 부정한 현금화 우려가 불거졌습니다.

앞서 스타벅스는 최근 충전식 선불카드 잔액을 환불해달라는 소비자 요구가 거세지자,슬롯 커뮤 ps4다음 달 1일부터 14일까지 2주간 충전 금액 사용 비율과 관계없이 고객이 요청할 경우 한시적으로 전액 환불을 지원하겠다고 발표했습니다.

기존 이용약관상으로는 최종 충전 잔액의 60% 이상을 사용해야만 남은 잔액을 환불받을 수 있었으나 예외 규정을 적용하기로 한 것입니다.
